In this lesson, you worked on conversations you’ve had with people from your past, and we re-invented them to include your female voice.
Now I want you to work with the same people you already did, and think of a conversation you are planning to have with them. If you aren’t going to see them anytime soon, use your imagination. And make sure you also pick some people that you are planning to see in the future. For example, a relative at an upcoming family gathering, a childhood friend you see regularly, etc.
Write down some things you know you will be saying to them. You won’t know exactly what they are going to say (or maybe you do!), but you can guess.
And do the same exact drill we’ve been doing, using this future conversation.
Note: if you believe that your thoughts and expectations can be self-fulfilling, then make the imaginary conversations as positive as you can. You might just find that people live up to your positive expectations!
Thank you for all your openness, effort and courage. I hope you recognize all the ways in which they are bearing fruit for you.
“See” you soon,
