The ancient Greek orators used to demand excellence from both their words and sound quality. And they practiced a lot to achieve what they wanted. One of the greatest and most famous orators, named Desmonthes, had trouble with his volume when he first started out. So, he went to the beach and practiced speaking above the sound of the waves to get used to raising his volume. He would look out at the ocean and send his voice to far horizon…using his belly muscles, and without screaming, of course!
Here is a link to ocean waves.
Play them in the background, imagine you’re in front of the big beautiful ocean. Speak to the waves. Use your belly support, your mask and keep visualizing your favorite color coming out of your mouth, traveling forward and spreading out in front of you.
Go for it!! And I’ll “see” you soon!
